Why does it seem that in this day in age everyone feels the need to guard what they say carefully? probably because dumb asses these days hear what they want to hear or what will benefit them.
So today we fired Security Forces (Air Force military Police) while I am designated as Combat Arms instructor I fall under security forces. A Captain that before I was told that I could talk to him and relax, so I did before. A few months later we fast forward to today and he comes to me and asks me a question about how I feel towards something. I wont get into the details on what but he asked for my opinion and thats what it was an opinion. I laid out no facts towards the topic anyways, I started to tell him well I don't know how it would work out at this base but I know it can work at other bases like the last base I was at (Lackland, Tx). I said that it would make for some extremely long days (12-20 hour work days) and that we might have the manning but I didn't know the logistics behind it.
So about 2 hours later I get called into a room with the door shut behind me by my supervisory who says I probably just fucked the shop over. The Captain proceeded to tell my LT (in my squadron we are broke up into sections, the captain was no longer in my section and the LT was) that I told him that it was totally do able and there wouldn't be a problem. He also went on to tell the LT that I told him that the shop does things the way it does to GET OUT OF WORK!!!!! that right there made me fly off the handle because no where did I even come close to saying anything like that and even if that was true I know better than to say that out loud.
