I've been wondering who thinks which is the better movie? To me both has their good points. The only down side to the 1984 really is that it's outdated and not as relatable to today's generations. I've seen the 1984 version many times and grew up on it so to me that's the winner. The biggest thing I don't like about is remaking all the songs. One of the best songs in the 1984 movie was "I need a hero". It really made the scene where the tractors are playing chicken which they also changed which I thought was stupid.
So I am interested to hear everyone's points on the topic. Especially someone that might have seen the 1984 after the 2011.
