back from beantown
finally saw a game at Fenway check that off the list
bowled candlepin style:
i had never heard of it outside of boston
but both times ive been there i've done it
thin narrow pins - 3 rolls - small holeless balls (skee-ball-esque)
its hard because you get very little pin action, they dont reset the pins between throws - so downed pins can be in your way
boston red sox fans blow
they are assholes
it sucks rooting for a team you dont really like
especially when its your teams rival (go o's)
waited in line 2 hours for standing room tix sux
but we got some of the last tickets avaliable
the ticket guy told us there were only 8 tickets left after us
there was a line of hundreds behind us at least 4 city blocks long
had a pastrami sandwhich for thr first time in a few years
it was good

saw STAR WARS: EP III
so what did we all think?
I give it 4 stars (of 5) on the Flannery-Scale.
It basically satisfies all the criteria for a decent Star Wars movie. Second best to Empire - I'd say. Blasphemy some might say.
Great action. Terrible acting. Cheesy one-liners. Very good special effects. Lucas fixed up his CGI and didnt overdo it. Story was decent. Tied up the story pretty well.
Hard to sound so positive about a darker movie - but its definitely worth seeing in the theaters - i'm sure you all have already. I'll probably catch it again as a matinee.
natalie portman sucked - too bad
she looked good preggers though
even wore laia buns

ummm....sorry, but that is a hilarious cartoon about scranton!! it's true and it sucks there. and i can say that b/c i have been there and i am from just north of there in the binghamton area. why are the people from scranton all so excited about that place? i don't get it. there are also a lot of pathological liars from that area. i want to school with a bunch of them and know some still. most people go back there though. i don't get it.
