on a good note the prof wants me to defend my thesis around october 1, to be totally done by then. this is beyond cool. on another note i'll need a shit-ton more luck.
watched JasonX last night. not the best of the series, but a worthy, irreverant romp. Also caught Punch Drunk Love. I didn't like it, but I'm more apt to say that's my fault than PT Anderson's...maybe if I watch it a few dozen more times...

Punch Drunk Love is one of those movies that you either love or hate... I don't think there is an in-between. I was not sure if I liked it when I came out of the theatre when I saw it. I have since decided that I do like.... a lot! Watch it again and just don't think about Adam Sandler. That will kill it for you if you do.
As for other stuff, thanks for the gangsta rap advice. And also, monkey work is better than no work.
