okay so went to nyc on THURSDAY, got to go to dinner with some old friends and the sister-figure, and had an essentially good time. food was great, the bars were great, the company was awesome.
hung out with my sister who i never get to see anymore, and we had a blast just catching up and chillin. ate and drank a lot of iced coffee, as nyc was oppresively humid this weekend.
went to a yankees game yesterday, which was SO hot i thought i was gonna get carted away to the hospital for heat exposure. spent way too much money on water as a result. roommie gave me a ride back and although the 1st 10 miles took us 45 minutes (yay traffic) the rest of the ride was cool (his ac was working) and i went down at 10.
i am rested and looking forward to getting a lot done today, and getting chinese for lunch with a very good friend. oh, and my lab has sweet ac. sweet, sweet ac and free coffee. i think i'm happy.
