It's funny when we are you all we wish for is to be old, and when we are old all we wish for is to be young again.
I remember specifically a time in my teens, during some of the darkest times of my life, thinking to myself damn once I'm "grown up" everything will be so easy. It will all be so simple, I just need to be a bit older. Come to realize life never really changes. It's always conflict, uneasiness, and stress. Sometimes there is even happiness or even joy sprinkled in. The older I get the more I come to realize living life, is just learning to push through all the bullshit and live life for those few happy, or joyful moments. It never really gets any easier, or better, per se, it's all about perception and what you choose to sit with. Life is too fucking short to worry, and let bad shit live rent free. Cherish the joyous moments for all they are worth.
Remember only two things in this life are guaranteed, death and taxes.
