Beware of No-Frills.net Bunch of fucking assholes.
6 months ago I signed up for free web hosting at totheextreme.com. (This was before I got smart and decided to go with Media Temple) Anyways the deal at the time was that if you signed up you got a certain amount of months free and then after that time had passed, and if you were happy with the service youd start to pay for the hosting.
2 weeks after I signed up I lost all access to my account and one week following that totheextreme.com went down. After repeated emails I never got a response.
As of 3-4 months ago apparently the site went back up but still without any functionality. The members menu didnt allow any logins and I got frequent page cannot be displayed errors. Screw that. Again I emailed them, this time to make sure they canceled my account. I got not response.
As of a couple days ago I got a bill from No-Frills.net which supposedly is in partnership with .theextreme.com. The bill was for $29.95 for an upgraded service fee. What the hell is this?!
I emailed this No-Frills.net explaining how I refuse to pay for a service that was never provided blah blah blah.
They emailed me back saying that I have to do a charge back and Ill be charged a $15 dollar fee.
For those of you looking for a good webhost, or a cheap or free host, BEWARE!
I only post this because I remembered in the past there being discussions on the boards about web hosting.
Anything linked to No-Frills.net should be avoided like the plague!
