I got the Escape back! they replaced the transmission, all under warranty. Only took them 3 weeks, the feckers.

I'll have the old number through the rest of the month, and no, I haven't been really receiving texts. OH, I changed the number from the 323, so this will be my 2nd 206 number, if that's what you mean. smile
