I have a housemate now, one of my co-owners is moving in. We have plans for the kitchen cabinets, all Ikea with granite countertops. We're going to keep the main room as a dining room and use the library more as a tv room. Soon we'll have the garage turned into a home theatre/poker room and an office. Floors will be slate or polished travertine in the kitchen and maybe thru the dining room. The bedrooms & library will get the berber carpets. drywall is being finished this weekend by a pro, then we paint.

Nothing is ever as easy or as quick as it seems, certainly not as cheap!
