I wonder if a forward works...i should have taken the train, much more Philip Marlowe. Life is weird, a year ago, I would have never considered ordering one drink and one cigar and paying $60 for them, but when I am back in the LA lifestyle, it doesn't phase me a bit.

Sitting here at a swanky beach resort in the OC, i'm reminded of thoughts that seem repeated at a few weddings. Why didn't I make a play for her when I might have had the chance? I'm just too goddamn shy or stupid when it comes to relationships. I flirt damn well, but I always choke on the next step. The ony relationships I have had are ones where she has made the move beyond flirting friends. I guess I gave up somewhere along the line.
