I got the flat I was hoping for. A shared house in Sunday's Well, right at the top of the Shakey Bridge (a Cork landmark). sharing with 3 women in their later 20s-early 30s in a nice sized house with a HUGE but wildly overgrown garden up the hill in the back.
Just after I got the call, I was having second thoughts about what I want to do for work. The film studio still hasn't panned out, and the wireless gig in Dublin is just setting off alarm bells in my head. I updated the CV and sent it around to some of my network of associates. Found out there are a couple effects studios in LA looking for admins, and one in London, as well as a strangely interesting wireless contract that might come up in Iraq. can you say hazardous duty pay?
So, I'm not sure what's going to happen. I could stay here, but I am tired of the hand to mouth and need some inspiring work.

Running around working furiously for the big payoff that doesn't seem so big when your soul is shattered...tends to change the perspective on things a little.
