I am bad at managing money. I am worse when I am making steady money too. This month, I ran out of cash 5 days before payday. At least my final spend was at the market, so I have food for the weekend, and Jason from the football team has some of the cash he owes me.
Speaking of Jason & football, his little brother is moving here for the summer to play with the Marshals, so Jason is looking for a new place for the two of them to live. With all the
hassles in the current house, I decided I'd try and find a place with them. Somce nice 2br places for 1k-1200/mo. Jason & bro will share a double room, and I am hoping to get a double myself. Single rooms in Ireland are *tiny*...
The house in Coolmine is nice enough, but this one guy is wrecking everything. His name is Moon, from Bangledesh. He *really* wants to be an American, and always bugs me about slang or pronounciations. He's also terribly niave, and a bit "blonde". The worst part is, he's not working much and always seems to be sponging off the rest of us, usually invisibly. Toilerties and food are the most common items gone missing.
The final straw came a couple weeks ago, the night of the first Dublin SG meet. I got home from work early and popped in for a nap before going out. Moon didn't know I was home and strolled into my room. I have no idea what he was doing or what he was looking for, but I didn't much care for his reasons. I remembered a few weeks before that when I was in bed sick (home from work), someone opened my door, and I now figure that was him as well (usually he's the only one home alone during the day).
I need to get off my arse and do some training. I had to skip football practice today since I had no money for cab fare and the only guy living near me with a car stayed at his gf's last night.
How's that for an update?
