the space, the people (an old friend of mine randomly appeared) , the food, the drink (two free pitchers of PBR!) the general atmosphere,
all battered.
looking forward to many more this summer before re-entering the school grind. Next mission: tshirts and DVDs. gotta spread the word.

tired of hearing about fucking reagan. Being in DC, i imagine its more intense than anywhere else in the country (at least I hope so) , but still, a fucking government and school holiday for that guy? a little much. DC is so weird.
I went down to the "memorial service" just to people-watch and take some pictures, it was kind of creepy, they herded everyone into this big corral on the Capitol lawn and everyone just milled around in there for hours packed like cattle so they would have a good vantage point. There was a big flashing messageboard:
WELCOME TO THE US CAPITOL
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED
FLOWERS BOTTLES FOOD
WEAPONS CAMERAS BACKPACKS
TURN OFF PHONES
that repeated over and over.
I thought an appropriate comment was made by the Onion, which ran the headline, Reagan's Body Dies.
i guess this is along rambling drunk delirious from driving all night entry that should end soon.

I used stones. It was the stones which killed me. You'd spend hours grinding them down and then a tiny piece of grit would destroy all of your work.
