Great weekend. Went up to my friends house in Wisconsin that his family shares with some people. It's a big red house in the middle of no where.... They call it the Big Red House. So we participated in a major board game tournament. We went up there on Friday and came back on Sunday.
It was good times. We slept for 3 hours that night and maybe six the next day.
We played a six and a half hour board game on sunday. We played probably over 24 hours of board games over the weekend.
I'm currently losing but am in a stone's throw of 3rd. I would be higher but I was a victim of some meta-gaming and then when I should have been a beneficiary the player that could have done it made a mistake. We didn't finish and half to meet up some time this week to finish it.
The only food we had was the lasagna my mom had offered to make for us to bring and junk food. My friends were very grateful that we didn't starve and wish they had thought ahead more....
We drank some on Saturday. I have mosquito bites because we played one game outside and it became dusk. Then I also decided that I wanted to sleep on the porch outside. It was gorgeous. There's a little stream out back and beautiful... I had a cot a sleeping bag and a pillow.... It was like camping except I started out drunk and didn't have any hardship included.
It was a blast.

It all sounds wonderful!!! Long lasting board games can be so much fun sometimes, people can get pretty goofy. And you CANNOT go wrong with lasagna, EVER!

I'm going to have a flight transfer in Chicago for 2 hours in a couple weeks, does that count? Haha.
