So as I mentioned, I'm stuck at my parents place till I find a job. Maybe for a month or two after if I find one in chicago while I build up a warchest of sorts.
My parents have been working on the house since I was in the sixth grade. They finally started making progress, but ended up tearing up the backyard and letting it go to seed. I think this is why I can see more fireflies there than I ever remember seeing in my childhood. Yeah. I'm still struck by the fireflies. I have never seen so many.
And it isn't like that on the street or the front yard, that's why I think I'm not crazy.
Job search is going alright. haven't gotten any responses yet, but have sent out a billion. That's the first step right?

I live with my dad again to go to school. It kinda sucks, but it's also nice cause he's never home and I don't have to pay rent. He's really chill and I can have parties whenever I want
