Did five applications online. Should have done ten. Should have done more than ten to make up for the fact that I haven't been doing them... Botched an interview yesterday, because I apparently have forgotten how to do mental math. Or at least yesterday I did. Seemed fine today when I checked it out. Grins. But I have another test like thing in a couple of weeks for another job so that's good.

Have been rereading my Heinlein. I forgot how much I loved that guy. He really knows how to cater to an audience. Either that or as the cover says he's written the most "controversial _______ novel" ever. I think some of the blanks where fun.... Here's one. The most controversial classic of military adventure. Starship Troopers? Ha. Anyway, don't judge it by the movie. That wouldn't be fair.

I really had forgotten how much a I had agreed with him on or enjoyed his crotchety old man characters. Most of his books have what my friends an I have dubbed a "Heinlein". That is to say a crotchety intelligent virile old man who ends up with no less than one girl (possible more as many of his books have arcane variations on marriage.)

Haven't been drinking too much. Just once since I last posted I think. Is pretty well behaved for me.

I think I'll read some more book. Or do some more work.... Or maybe just see if any of mah stories are on Tee Vee.
