Just got back from Mardi Gras. Some people in our group had class so we had to miss Mardi Gras proper, but will still hit some of the biggest parades. I met a bunch of friends of friends. I ate fried alligator. I had crawfish pies and sweet potato pecan pies.

Drank gin and whiskey and hurricanes and hand grenades. Wandered around. Sang songs.

It was a good time. Now to return to a more sedate lifestyle.
