My head hurts... ugh... it hurts sooo bad. Its just pounding away in one specific area.... Ive taken excedrin... im laying down... im trying to sleep... i hate migraines... i have so much work i need to do... does anyone have the magical cure for migraines? Ive suffered from them since i was in elementary... sometimes i want to just chop my head off.

I have tried prescription Cafergot, Imatrex, and shots of Demerol. So far the only OTC thing that seems to work has been excedrine migraine followed by a strong cup of warm coffee or tea for the caffeine. You should have them diagnosed. There is a huge difference between tension headaches and true migraines as far as treatment. My neurologist was an asshole about diagnosing me before he would admit I had migraines. Hope you feel better soon
