i recently got out of a relationship with a single mother of two
but i found her to be immature and neglectant
she seemed that shed rather get hammered than watch the kids
so i can relate from the single non parent perspective of your boyfriend
and simultaneously your perspective that he wants to be wild and spontaneous
it seems to me that he love who you are
but hes not in love with you and your life
great guy or not, doesnt nescessarily mean it will work out

The problem is most young man are inmature and can not handle reality. The realityis that you are a single mother and have to kids. If he loves you then he most love what you bring to the table. It would have been great if he had met you prior to have two kids but he did not. I could possible understan his problem if you had hidden the kids for the last two years and oh by the way I have two kids are you ready to move in with me. But he has been apart of their life and they have grown attached to him. Normally, what I see the problem being is most young man have a preset idea what kind of family they would like to have and raising someone else children is not in the picture. Normally, older men who have raised their kids do not have a problem dating women with children because they already have children of their own and do care if they have any more. They also have a tendency to look at it as they are your children and not theirs so they really have no responibility in raising them. It take a special person to held raise someone elses children and I hope you find Mr Right.
