Some things:
1. Reading Arete's journal has made me want to make another film.
2. The more time I spend on this site, the more I wish I could afford to hire a model, or rent a studio.
3. I am currently working on the following writing projects: "Like the World Hurts God" (starting second draft), "A Temporary Life" (approx ten pages into first draft), "Keep the Living Bodies Warm" (one page into first draft"), and "Tobacco Hand" (starting second draft).
4. I am currently reading Absalom, Absalom!, and despite having read many of the really "hard" books in the English-language canon with no trouble at all, I am finding this one extremely difficult. But the challenge is part of why I'm enjoying it.
5. I want to have the space and the privacy to start drawing/painting again.
6. I want the money to get a decent sampler, drum machine, and the necessary equipment to start making music again, but this time for real.
7. I am one month away from not having had sex for two years.
8. I am three months away from not having heard the words "I love you" for two years.
9. I wish I had companionship.
10. I am completely exhausted.
11. I will post a review of The Libertine soon. I promise.
