i don't think dj irene does break beats. sometimes i feel like there are two dj's. each a different beat but some how intertwines into one massive rave in my mind. i don't know why i tend to hear two beats at once to make it into one, but it just does. maybe i just love music a little too much? is that a good thing or a bad thing when you catch someone sitting alone with no head phones but seem like their constantly listening to something... .

i'm out of the whole rave scene now. eventhough i miss the high energy from the people and music. the first time i touched a spin set i started scrathing. i didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing to do that but i just kept listening for that beat to scratch. then i wanted to mix it up, just trying to find something that would throw myself into mental maddness. there is nothing more intense the bass just pumping through your veins. the way music can just take control of a person. give them self confidence and bring them to life.
i guess that's why i love music and to dance. i feel confident when i dance. i don't mind when people look at me, what their thinking, or what they say. all i care about is the next beat. just waiting for the switch up.
