I slept so well and for about eight hours i can't remeber the last time i slept that long

plus i finally have some time to relax a bit finished up two spanish papers this week but can't break for long have phil paper and spanish presentation this week, i'm accutually looking forward when all i have to do for classes is finals

one of the papers i did was for Lat. Amer. flim and lit. on social class comparing City of God with Industrial Park
i was happy with it at least in english but not so much when i translated it


Maybe it's just my ego but i find myself to a really good writer i'll look back on past papers and while not thinking the entire thing incredible think this sentence was genius or that paragraph is a piece of f-ing art

i can get pretty defensive about it there were times when i had lesley look it over and getting upset if she didn't understand what i was trying to say

"what do you mean you don't know what that pronoun substitutes it's completely obvious!" says the dick wrote it and has no perspective of a reader

when it come to writing spanish papers i first write it in english (which is probably not the best way to learn spanish) am happy with it then translate it a become frustrated knowing that it's not a very good translation and losing much of the force of the original
sometimes that can be a good motivator to try harder in spanish a other times i feel like giving up
