Aw crapbags. Well, my friend, who I was meant to be having a long overdue catch up evening in with, cancelled, so now I've got a saturday night in all by myself. Arse.
Today, on balance, hasn't been bad though. Gym in the morning, removing a ceiling in my sister's flat, dirty and destructive, oh what fun! Few episodes of Battlestar Gallactica. And the night is still young. Have a feeling it's only really going to include some more Battlestar, Match of the day, some home made burgers and possibly some gaming. Mind you, I'm a bit skint, and those consoles ain't cheap so I'd better make the most of them.
Slightly torn between being happy and sad about this. I'm sure there are some of my friends around whom I could see, I could pop down to Brighton for a crazy night out and an odd reunion. I'm thinking it would be nice to meet some new people, especially those of the attractive female kind, and it makes me a little sad I'm not doing this. But on the other hand, it's a few days before pay day, so I'm skint, I enjoy doing the things I've got semi planned for tonight, and there's plenty of time to meet other people.
Ah well, such is life. Still, shouldn't really complain, things are pretty good, and things will happen when they're meant to. Not so much a 'it's my destiny' kind of person, just think if I really wanted to do/change something, I would.
These are my musings for this evening. Oh, and I was going to make burgers with mince meat, red onions, some tomato puree and a bit of grated parmasan cheese, anyone got a kick ass recipe I could try?

i hope i am back to my normal self by tomorrow but thanks for the well wishes! i bet you were exhausted after the gym and tearing apart ahouse, i can only imagine! next time you'll have to try my recipe and tell me what you think, my dad is the one that taught it to me. have a great sunday and now i am off to drink chicken soup and watch buffy.
