I have two months left in the service, and as it draws to a close I reflect that, though terrible, there were good times as well.
I’ll never forget any of the people I served with, I’m going to ones wedding this summer, and another is coming to my farm’s centennial. I’m even gonna hook up with all my nerd friends who’re out and play a straight up warhammer campaign.
If you’re looking to enlist, make sure you know what you’re getting into. I got to blow shit up, but there was a lotta dumb shit inbetween it all.
