In Star Wars lore, there was once a yellow bladed lightsaber. This was no ordinary saber though, because it was made in a way that allowed it's blade to pass through another lightsabers, while cool, I would like to point out one little thing. If you're swinging a lightsaber at someone, they'd either dodge or swing back to block your own. Now, I'm no expert on science of any kind, but unless that yellow lightsaber somehow cancels out the force of the opposing lightsaber's swing, wouldn't said opponent's lightsaber wind up bisecting you as you bisected him?
