I came upon the stunning realization today, that, if I had super powers I could probably never be a hero. For one, my temper is too short, and I'd probably wind up using my powers for something other than good, at best I'd be whatever the Hell Deadpool qualifies as, I hate to say he's an anti hero, mostly because that term is forever cemented into my head as the edgy era of comics with huge muscles and ridiculous guns.
What I mean by that is, I would be a hero of sorts, but I would more than likely burn a few things to the ground with my pyrokinesis, because if I can't have a Sylar like ability to kill powered individuals and steal their abilities, that's what I'd have. Pyrokinesis or an advanced healing factor, those two can't really work together though, seeing as that would be too much bad ass for one hero to have.
So, yeah, I'd probably use the power of pyrokinesis to burn anything and everyone that ever angered me, so that's why I can't have them. If you've read anything I've ever written you'll know I like to ramble, so I'll just stop myself now.
