I have not had an actual date in about a year and a half now. The last person that I was “dating” we liked each other and if I had a car I am sure we would still be dating.
I don’t drive, it is not that I can’t it just doesn’t make sense for me to. I live in a big enough city where public transportation takes me where I need to go in the winter time. I prefer to take my bike almost everywhere else.
I am also doing online dating because it seems that every girl I met at the bar or out and about has interest in me for that hour or two then lose it immediately afterwards. It is possible that the 3 day rule no longer has any effect in the modern day and age where attention spans seem to be here one moment then gone in the blink of an eye. Possibly it’s because every girl that I end up getting a phone number from is either dating someone or it just the worse time.
I have given one girl from work my number that I thought would kind of pan out into a Chinese food date but, it has not worked out yet. I should have gotten hers, but I guess that’s the way that these things work sometimes. I was told that I should ignore now, and make her chase me. I think that is what I shall do. A casual hello, whenever I see her but otherwise indicate that I have no interest in her, I don’t enjoy playing games like this. We shall see what happens now.
I helped a buddy of mine move yesterday and today. It was great nothing like working out and helping out a friend. He did give me a sweet ass lamp and some new speakers so it was a good day. As a joke I am going to get him a poster of John Stamos from the Full House days. The new place his room has a glass door, so we were joking about what he should put there. I think it will be an excellent moving in present.
I still need to clean my house and donate some cloths. Some are jeans that don’t fit the right way, from when I was a kid trying to figure out how to dress, I took them out and wow, I was a moron when I was a kid. Skinny jeans look good on no man. But that’s more details for later when I am feeling all nostalgic.
