Shoulda woulda coulda! Even a dull night with folks is better than a dull night with one's self. Folks are much less predictable than one's self. They could stab you, love you, write you a check, insult you, adopt you, slap you, hump you, compliment you, ignore you, spank you, buy you things, fuck with your mind, offer you candy, imitate you, run towards you, step on your foot, ask you questions, advertise themselves to you, ask you to buy them drinks, ask you to change, ask you to change your hair, ask you if there is change in the air, ask you to change a spare, ask you if you have change to spare, act like youre a wild bear, a wild boar, a white hare in a trap door, an Ennio Morricone film score, and more. That tension is always there.
