Hope everyone is well out there in SG land.

Well it's the middle of winter here at the moment and this week it's feeling more like spring, the sun is out, the days appear to be getting a little longer and there are events to look forward to. In two weeks we have the NZ Beervana craft beer show in Wellington so I'll be flying down for a night and sampling a few cold ones The Taranaki art festival is starting on the 15th of August and I've already picked out a few gigs that i's like to see, and they all seem to be on the same day, bonus is I guess that it's a Saturday so I can at least attend everything I want to. I've bought a new Canon 60D this month, now just need to get out and use it!! so many other things that are taking up time and money at the moment it's not funny, seems to never end. Anyway, back to watching NHRA coverage and Americas cup highlights even though the racing is a bit of a yawn at this stage of things the boats are still extremely impressive, and I love to see NZ punching above it's weight on the international scene.
