Well I have been back a week and damn its cold. We flew back to Wellington getting in at 1am to a not so tropical 9 degree Celsius having come from Bali and 34 degrees Celsius and humid. At least the weather is getting better here and the predictions of a long hot summer are almost looking like they in fact happen.
While in Bali I meet some really nice people, some locals some tourists but all had the same thing in common, just good natured beautiful people.
Highlight of the trip was being invited to a wedding, well the after match function anyway. We had to get dressed up in sarongs and headscarves but we were certainly not locals! After eating and having a drink with the family we/I became something of an amusement for the local kids, so the usual chase the kids and teach them how to flick bottle caps games ensued for the afternoon. Despite the language barriers present for each side I think we all had fun, the big kid and the smaller ones as well.
On a not so happy note my SD card for my camera failed so I have lost any photos for the first week of the trip. Still have the memories I guess and hopefully they wont fade.
Anyway back to mundane job of chores and thinking about work again tomorrow.

I ended up going to the police, who were really nice and said they would call him to make sure he wouldn't bother me again.
Trinity Roots was fantastic. We just played the CHCH show. Really amazing to hear them play, and they so so talented.
