Well the highlight of the year so far has been the Speights Coast to Coast, not competing mind you but support crew. Despite the 4:30am wake ups and it rain on the Friday night (140mm per hour) it was really enjoyable, kind of inspirational in fact. It's also a part of the country that I haven't seen before so that in its self was a good enough reason to go.
