10. i had an interesting night/day yesterday. during the day i bummed around various places, finally saw charlie and the chocolate factory (review to come later), and then hung out with my rad friend elle and her girlfriend (ex, maybe? they're in a weird spot.) who put me, and my stuff, up for the night.
9. we went out to a bar around 945 or so, around 11 decided we were bored and were gonna go get food. so, we went back to elle's apartment and her and gutchy went upstairs to get some stuff to carry down to elle's car. i waited outside because i was smoking.
8. i'm standing out there, they come out and cross the street and i'm just bumming around. random, not apparently drunk, man walks past me, is staring at me, finally says 'you're beautiful' and moves along. i was like 'wha?' but it was one of the nicer things somebody walking along the street has said to me
7. later, we get to perkins. and the waiter (purposely) didn't charge me for half of my food.
it was weird, but i'm really not going to complain. it's funny to me that both of these happened on a day when i hadn't washed my hair in two days, was wearing no make-up, and felt sweaty and disgusting. hey, it's the little things that make days good.
6. i found somebody to helpe me move today. i'm sooo thankful/happy/etc. i will hopefully be moving around 3 today. i check in at 230, and then i've gotta load up her car. it might take 2 trips this time, cause i'm not sure how big her car is...i'm just thankful i don't have a lot of stuff.

2. today is the first day in awhile that it's not ridiculously and disgustingly hot outside. i'm so pleased by this. maybe it means i won't be quite as sweaty and disgusting later today. probly not...but maybe
1. in general, things are going pretty well on my end. sure, a couple of things could be better (distance = teh suck, for example), but an awful lot of things could be worse.

and that's funny about that guy hitting up on you when you weren't at your best. That seems to always happen to me too, I have a theory that those are the people you actually want to grab ahold of, I mean, your looks can only get better from that poijnt, can't they?
