so back in like february/march-ish i submitted some poems to the journal BLOOM, which i love. it's one of my favorites. today i got the rejection letter in the mail. rejection letter, you're thinking? how can that be cool?
well, this is how. first of all, in case you're unfamiliar with literary journals, it's really hard to get into them. i mean, really really hard. especially when you're a complete unknown like i am. they didn't send the normal form rejection letter which every journal has. instead, i got a hand written note that says:
Dear Finch-
Not these--but we'd love to see more in the future. Thanks.
