10. there are 29 comments sitting on my last journal entry. i've decided this is too many, and i must update again.
9. at times, i have a pessimistic mind. when it comes to health issues and my family, i tend to constantly be running worst case scenarios in my head. for example: if my mom has cancer, i will end up in meadville again for awhile, because i will put my life on hold and go home. this is not a happy prospect.
8. damnit i wish her doctor's appointment was sooner than friday. sigh.
7. i just played a really awful game of chess. i used to play all the time with my dad, and i was pretty decent at it, until once when i finally beat him. i took a picture of him holding a sign that said 'i lost' to prove that it happened, and i never played chess with him again. i planned on playing him again, just after awhile, because i figured i'd never win again. and then he died, and i didn't get the chance. i've only played a handfull of times since then and only with 2 people, this boy i dated for awhile and now my uncle. i ought to play more often.
6. i will be checking out the mass. strip club scene sometime in the next few weeks with pip and mylf. it certainly should be a good time.
5. i'm currently listening to the weakerthans. i enjoy them.
4. i'm currently reading 'american gods' by neil gaiman. i've never really read any of his novel work before; i read 'coraline' but i wouldn't really count that. as he's probably my favorite comic book writer, it's rather interesting to see his novel work.
3. what's your favorite book? i've decided i want to read new things. if you tell me what your favorite book is, perhaps i'll read it.
2. all you ever wanna do is drink and watch tv--frankly that thing doesn't really interest me. i swear i'm gonna bite you hard and taste your tinny blood if you don't stop the self-defeating lies you've been repeating since the day you brought me home. i know you're strong.
