alrighty...i just had a rather disheartening conversation with my younger sister. she's almost 19, in her freshmen year at slippery rock university. i'm actually here to ask all of you wonderful people for advice. what would you tell her/do if you had a sister/brother in this situation? here's the im conversation we had earlier tonight:

plain gurl: you overanalyze and think abou things too much
her: well ok then.. i know i do .. on the boy area i'm just sick of being alone.. and sick of meeting jackass guys who screw w/ my fucking head.. on the college thing everyone talks about how great it is.. but yet i'm having a horrible time.. so doesn't that mean somethings wrong with me? i think so..
her: but i am done ranting now.. *L* thanks for letting me vent!
plain gurl: i don't think it means something's wrong with you.
plain gurl: i do think it's really possible that you're at the wrong school if you're having such a horrible time.
her: nope can't switch schools not gonna be better any where else.. besides i have 200 some kids here to beat out for the ten PT seats ! YIPEE :-) *L* *sigh*
plain gurl: why do you think it wouldn't be better anywhere else? and why're you having such a bad time?
her: no friends.. the ones i have i don't really like that much.. i really like frank and i keep messing up.. i'm sick of class.. my self-confidence is going down.. and i spend more time sitting in my room playing solitare then anything else bvecause i am so bored out of my freaking mind!!! GRRRRRR!!!

i want her to be happy, but i'm not quite sure if there's any advice i can really give her. what do you think?
