So I've applied for membership at Misanthropes R US, waiting for the creator guy to approve my application. One thing I noticed was that having friends and a journal helped you get in.. fucking unbelievable. Here we are dealing with a misanthropes community and it's expected that you actually partake in the droning, self absorbed, time consuming online diary shit. Methinks this group might just be another place to shmooze and gain opportunity to shower other people with clever insights into their boring day.

no, i'm sure - i pulled it out and double checked it - i have the 2003 reissue on Reprise - apparently there was one on Warner from 2004 - that must be the one with the bonus tracks, but i can't find a listing for it ANYWHERE!

actually the coltrane i picked up yesterday was 'cresent'. which does not feature migus on bass(jimmy garrison plays on this one). i've been listening to jazz all my life but am still a noob as far as collecting it goes. if you can point me in the direction of the lp you speak of i'd appreciate that 'cause i do love me some mingus

and you just might be right about the misathropes community.....because those two words together look like an oxymoron to me wink
