My man Shakespere was right: DO beware the Ides of March.

My grandmother died Friady last week. Finally had the wits to seek out a comp (left my laptop home) and say - official-like - in my journal that she was a wonderful person, always (well, almost always) pushing me into more than just a "studio brat". She always meant a lot to me, but now it boils down to a box (Wisconsin Foodmart) - some great pictures, some heartbreaking. but I'll post them when I get home. She looked something like THE BLACK DAHLIA, but my mind works in strage ways.

In Sussex, Wisconsin, it's really nice and sunny - kind of like opening that door to Oz, strictly Technicolor grass and miles between folks. Things are gray a bit in Hollywood - at least when I left.

Of course I had a totally different plan, meeting up with a member of SG in San Francisco, a really spectacular woman, but that got flamed, alas.

I really have to thank hotcurry for her incredible painting of Harpo Marx, making one swell gift.

Ok - Goofy Uncle (who is a pretty famous Western artist, but kind of a smuck) is needing to fax a sale, and really all I wanted to do was update........ doing fine, how's by you???
