More muppet action!
PART II
Work on the eyes commenced over the last couple of days.
i like them, although, they arent as refined as I think I would like. I get the sense that Im gonna get pissed and replace them with something else more plasticy and permanent than styrofoam.
I dug a hole in the ball for the eye which is more black foam cut and stuffed to fit in the hole.
the "iris" lines are also black foam wedged in small slits.
It is meant to look like a broken line... it isnt one circle surrounding his eye... it gives it the drugged out fucked up loook Im going for.
Next I cut and hollowed slits to fit the eye in. The ey doesnt sit in it totally, the last stage where I put the fabric on should really make some of this be clearer.... he has to have age lines and dark circles under his eyes, and when the fabric gets sewn on, Ill be doing that work then.
So this is what the fucker looks like now... its weird having him in the house.. he looks so much like the cartoon I drew... its.. a little awkward runnng into his head all over the house...
Heh. More soon... even if no one cares.

On another note. I got clipped by a car in the head tonight.
I was on concussion watch... but Im okay. It was my fault... I dont know how.. but I actually managed to walk into a moving car.
One second earlier... I would be dead right now.

hey, about the "clipped by a car" thing: when i was 8 i was hit by a car going 40 mph. the driver? a 19 yr old college girl. didn't break anything, but i was on COMA watch b/c i had a severe concussion.
this was over x-mas break that year. all i could think through the whole ordeal was: what a great story to come back to school with!
