Okay...I promised an update, so here we go. The new job has been kicking my ass, but not because I can't handle it, because my predecessor in my position decided that because he was being replaced that he wouldn't come in and train me on any of the systems. I work in a video post-prouction facility, and so, since I am fairly knowledgeable about post production, it is not so bad except for one thing. DVD authoring. I did not know the software and I have had to learn it in a HURRY. This sucks. And it has caused me to have to work six days last week. In addition to no training, my predecessor left a 2-3 week backlog of work for me to catch up on as well as the new work that comes in every day. So, I have been swamped. But I like my new job, I love my new hours, and I love the 1.1 mile commute I have now! Yay! lol...
