The newest members to my little family are Hans and Frans. My two siberian dwarf hampsters. They're great. They're like little cartoon characters zooming through their habitrail. They sleep all day then as soon as the sun goes down it's like somebody gave them crack.

They're just little furrballs with feet sticking out and big shiny eyes. I like their feet, they're furry. They like to sit in your pocket and hide up your sleeve and they always try to run the opposite ways on their wheel so they don't actually go anywhere.

Personalities are already emerging. Hans is the fat, quieter one who loves sunflower seeds and sleeping. HIs main interests are definently creature comforts. Frans on the other hand is the ADD hampster. He RUNS to the foodbowl RUNS to the water RUNS to the wheel RUNS back to me and so on. He doesn't like sunflower seeds though, he likes the little oats kernels and cooked rice.

Rosie of course is still getting her due of attention. She's been real skittish lately, I think she's about to molt so I've just been feeding her and otherwise leaving her alone... I'm not gonna handle her if she's not in the mood... The last thing I need is a tarantula bite.

So that's the update on amy's zoo. We're here all week.
