All across the map. And PURCHASES, no less.

Attitude shift, YES. Basically that's been me. I am having to downshift and get realistic about...well, everything. Life. Living it instead of just inhaling and exhaling.

These thoughts aren't gonna flow so much, I just realized. Anywh00...

The love thing goes like this. Love is expansive, so its opposite is only...love. Kinda like...the universe....there's no opposite, it continually evolves and unfolds. I was still dancing in that schema that there was an opposite. I'd heard a girl read a poem talking about that concept.

Corny. Thinking about it though, makes me feel good. More comfy in my skin. In this life. So, if that's the case, I'll take corny, happily.

I've been spending most of today listening to POISON - I'm not embarassed to say so.

When I was 6 or so, my metalhead cousin bought me "Flesh and Blood" and my brother "Look What...

The Darkness strikes me as forced fun, but I wouldn't say I hated them as much as I can't get into it.
I used to like Poison a lot. In high school, I'd pretend to not like them around metal people, just to provoke them into saying mean things about them (I thought it was funny that metalheads cared; I didn't think Poison was any sillier than thrash/ satan metal... but they wore a lotta makeup, girlier makeup than Kiss or Ratt, which was very threatening to high school metal boys).

I don't think I'd like Poison as much now... but then, I don't think I'd like Onslaught, Nuclear Assault, or Slayer as much either.

The metal I never got sick of was Ozzy's Sabbath, and early Motorhead. That's pretty much my favorite. I still like a couple of Maiden and Priest things a lot.

Are you for Schwarzenneggar or against him? confused

Do you know how to spell Schwarzeneggar? confused confused
cheech:
Well, those are all standard albums, except umm Jet is new and I don't know them well... and the Frampton holdonholdonholdon, before you assume I'm gonna go off on him... I think the three hits are good. I just can't get into the rest of it. And the Stones cover is just a -why?- moment.

Bush Administration Detains Citizens Without Due Process of Law

It looks like there's another WW2 situation with homeland detainment of a race.

I mean, I'm sure there aren't many on SG, but who can look at Bush and say "This guy did a good job" ?!!

Oh yeah. Idiots.

Waking up at 6:00 AM to get to earlier classes is a mixed blessing. I get stuff done earlier in the day now ... but I can't watch Adult Swim anymore.

A poem I'm writing in the style of Sir Walter Scott's "The Lady of the Lake". It's only partially done. Tell me what it's about, and you get a million points.

while dawn's crisp chill still pierced the bone,

A Rejected Friendster Testimonial (names have been changed):

I heard that Susan can't start the day without eating a baby. It's true.

It's a little known FACT that Susan can unhinge her jaw 180 degrees - I have it on good authority that her first three husbands were swallowed in this manner during throes of lovemaking and digested over the course of several months. My...

See? This is why I could never be a blogger.

I'm firm in the belief that the details of my life are interesting to one person: myself. This may be an ego thing - I mean, I wish people were very interested in my lifestyle, my day, what I think, what I do ... but I think they simply do not.

When I don't have...
