So I'm nuts about "The Strokes" now. I woke up to my cd player playing the "Is this it?" album on infinite loop. I didn't mind.
I got a copy of "High Fidelity" last night. I can't wait to watch it - but I don't know when I'll have time. I'll try to watch it tonight, since it comes with recommendations from some SG pals. I hear music whores like it, so I should too.
In case you haven't been following, they inducted AC/DC, The Clash, Elvis Costello, The Police, amd The Righteous Brothers. I used to worry that they weren't being picky enough - but then I realized it's not a competition, they're just honoring all people in rock history who should be remembered. In 2001 they inducted Queen and Michael Jackson (finally) so I'm happy.
Today would have been Paul and Linda McCartney's anniversary. ::sigh::
