I was responding to Cheech's journal entry when I realized just how many major celebritiy legends had died in the last year. I'm a fan of antiquity, and the loss of these people of note makes me feel sad as they pass on from living legends to the legends of old:

Milton Berle - Comic Funnyman
John Ritter - Of "Three's Company" fame
Johnny Cash - Musical legend
Fred "Rerun" Berry - Def Jam Comedian
Donald O'Conner - Of "Singing in the Rain"
Robert Palmer - Musician, creator of hits like "Simply Irresistable"
Charles Bronson - Of "Death Wish" fame
Maurice Gibb - Of the BeeGees ("Stayin' Alive")
Gregory Hines - Acclaimed entertainer
Bob Hope - Comedy legend
Barry White - Smokey soulman
Katherine Hepburn - Legendary Actress
Gregory Peck - Legendary actor
Robert Stack - Legendary actor (He was Ultra Magnus in the Transformers movie!)
Edwin Starr - Singer, ("War, huh, good God y'all, what is it good for?")
Joe Strummer - Of the Clash
James Coburn - Legendary actor
Jam Master Jay - Of Run DMC
Richard Harris - You probably know him as Dumbledore
Aaliyah - Pop sensation
Mr. Rogers - If you don't know him, I don't know you.
Rosemary Clooney - Sultry musician
