figmentation

Today I was reminded that you can never trust anyone, espically your parents, or atleast mine. To know that you're lied to on a consistant basis really fucks with your view of the world. Not to mention that the person you would follow to the ends of the earth holds nothing but contempt for you and your life and your values.
To hell with that. and them.
I should know better than to think they'd change, To think that HE'd change.

To all dad's out there:
Value your kids, Take care of them, be aware of what you say because they know when you lie and when you don't follow through... Make sure that they're fed while they're living under your roof and that they're health needs are met... Take them fishing, to the ball park, out for a jog or even to the moon. Read them bedtime stories, give them hugs and kisses and Spend time with them. LISTEN when they speak.. listen when they don't speak. Treasure them and treat them like gold and still make them go out and chop wood with you.

If you don't, one day they will hate you. they will despise your name, and spit on your grave.
