yesterday morning I started my day curled up in a bathrobe eating breakfast in bed at the boca resort and club and finished my day at a photoshoot in the cavalier hotel on ocean drive in south beach. This morning I woke in my own bed with my kitty curled up next to me... From ritzy, to art deco, to home, I do it all!
Sigh...
ok. time to get outta my favorite funky ugly no-one-is-ever-going-to-see-me-in-these pajamas an get some coffee...
kissess.

thanks to you guys who left happy messages! they make me smile.

and the word of the day is:
circumvent \ser-kum-VENT\ verb
1 : to hem in
2 : to make a circuit around
*3 : to manage to get around especially by ingenuity or stratagem
Example sentence:
The corporation was always trying to circumvent tax laws by exploiting the loopholes.
Did you know?
If you've ever felt as if someone were circling around the rules, you have an idea of the origins of "circumvent" it derives from the Latin "circum," meaning "circle," and "ventus," the past participle of the Latin verb "venire," meaning "to come." The earliest uses of "circumvent" referred to a tactic of hunting or warfare in which the quarry or enemy was encircled and captured. Today, however, "circumvent" more often suggests avoidance than entrapment; it typically means to "get around" someone or something, as in our example sentence.

escottie:
ah, the life of the rich and famous! biggrin

i'm still trying to re-establish sanity in my daily life. too much work, too little time. i haven't been out of the house for two days, except to get the paper on the front porch.

on a happy note, during the course of yesterday, my cold seemed to nearly disappear. i'm feeling much better today sans pharmaceuticals.

what do you know about bi-polar disorder?

kiss
