Right... the search for school and work goes on!

I'm totally hating the comsumerist culture we have been planted in!!! It's everywhere and magnified because of "christmas". The emphasis has been placed upon things! Things that can be destroyed by fire or a flood or a great wind ect will not be loyal. They are tools! That is all! Friendship is much more important than stuff! I love to give good things to people, giving gifts is wonderful (so is feeding them, the people not the gift) but it's not about stuff! You die and your stuff gets put in storage or sold. I live at a storage place, we're constantly auctioning off stuff that people have bought and had to pay to store somewhere! Friends on the otherhand, you don't have to store, you just have to love.

Love, what is that? is it a passing emotion, like happiness or sadness? is it a choice? is it a state of being? is it servitude, self denial and caring more for someone else more than you do for yourself? Isn't that what happens with friends? You know them, they know you, you both drive eachother absolutly batty! They accept and love you with your faults and you with them as well.

I need to learn to be a better friend! I have those who I care deeply for and I never speak with. EVER! It's sad really! I miss them terribly, yet I don't call... time to make some calls... to be continued...

About six hours later??? (maybe? I dunno, I've lost track of time) Phone calls for tonite finished and jobs/housing searched, as well as college. Bleh! It's all getting way too tedious and I'm starting to not see anything possible. it seems as though nothing is within reach and that I will be left here to this life I have for eternity! sigh. yea. it's not fun. I guess this is what perseverence is all about.
