figmentation

I had a friend come visit for a day or so. I'm feeling much more human, alive and appriciated than I have in the whole time since I've been here. There was music in the park and we went and swayed and danced with the rest of the crowd until they killed the lights and kicked us out. Today we visited with folks around town and had fried plantains and watched the water for what felt like hours.
I am alive, whole and unafraid of what the dawn brings.
