The process of growing up and figuring out what you want is much more complex than you realize until you're in the middle of it.
There was no prior warning, no heads up, no notification of any kind, just a great big slap and boom! you're in the middle of it. I've been caught totally off guard and unawares. and it's good... it's hard, but it's good.
I just hope I don't lose a friend because of the process.

My Uncle has a very good writing style and I wish that I had the same skill. I like the way the he evokes the scene with lines like "we could frequently see shooting stars against an incredible panorama of countless stars".
