So my ex-girlfriend has had possibly the worst holiday season anyone could have.
She didn't come to my Hardcore Thanxxxgiving bash because her dad died. On Thanksgiving.
Her Christmas was generally depressing because her extended family is a bunch of jerks who are trying to rip each other off from the inheritance of her Grandmother, who died around Christmas two years ago. Not to mention the procedure she had to remove the pre-cancerous cells they found in her cervix.
And then today I found out that her younger brother died yesterday, New Year's Day, of a drug overdose. I believe he was only 18-years-old.
Hug a loved one.

I was wondering about lodging for a Mardi Gras trip as well. Maybe if we keep your guys' friends and SG Chicago in the loop about our plans there will be enough good-hearted people with a couch to help us out, or at least help us find lodging.
