I just had to do my update. After hearing hours worth of `couldnt get em' and `they sold in under a minute' I was dismayed at my chances this morning. 10am rolled around and my strategy paid off. I had three trying for me and was able to get 6 total for the 28th of April in San Fran. Now I need to recruit enough people to ocme...if not from my local friends and family (and you Goob if your're willing) then from members that couldnt get em themselves.
This weekend was all about this morning, so at least I go to work with a smile on my face come monday. I missed a chance to hit them back in New Orleans in `94 and other attempts have always met with their issues (trip to Saudi Arabia). This time nothing will stop me....
Now....I realize that I am a complete pushover when it comes to helping people move (didnt see that change coming, did ya) . I swear I have helped an average of 6 people move every year for the last 7 years. Hopefully karma comes around and pays me back someday. I just think of these things since I was up early yesterday (by 1pm!!!!) to help a friend move.
Anyhow...I need to shower and go enjoy this 70 degree sunny March day in the hills or at the beach or something....its too goddamn nice a day to miss!
